ChessVerseAI, operated by EpitomeHub, provides chess play, challenges, coaching and account features.
We process account identifiers such as display name, username, email address, profile photo and country; authentication records; chess games, ratings, puzzles, learning progress and settings; friend, club, challenge and tournament activity; chat messages and user-selected chat attachments; notification tokens and notification preferences; and technical security and diagnostic logs. Google Sign-In provides an account identifier, name and email when you choose that login method. We do not receive your Google password.
We use information to authenticate users, save games and progress, provide AI coaching and chess features, connect friends and opponents, deliver chat and attachments, send requested game, social and personalized notifications, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose failures and support users. We do not sell personal information.
Images and files are selected through the device system picker and are uploaded only when you choose to send them. Attachments are limited in size and are made available only to the authenticated conversation participants. ChessVerseAI does not request broad access to your device storage.
When notifications are enabled, we process a device notification token so we can deliver friend requests, challenge updates, messages, tournament reminders and relevant personalized chess reminders. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored by our hosting, authentication, email and notification service providers only as needed to operate ChessVerseAI. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users and the service.
We retain account and social data while the account is active and as required for security or legal obligations. Messages and attachments may remain until the related account or content is deleted, subject to backup and legal retention periods. You may request account and associated personal-data deletion using our data deletion page.
ChessVerseAI is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country without parent or guardian involvement.

You may update profile information and notification preferences in the app, disable notifications in device settings, and request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. Rights vary by location. We verify requests before acting to protect accounts and other users.
We use access controls, authentication and encryption in transit designed to protect data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password and report suspected account misuse.
We may update this Policy as ChessVerseAI evolves or law changes. We will publish the revised effective date and provide additional notice when required.
